Season 2027 Player Registrations

Will open on the 1st of November 2026
 

Registration for 2027 is $320 per player. Of this, $120 goes straight to the league your child plays in, covering league administration, competition costs and match umpiring. 

 

Families with two or more children will receive a 20% discount on the club's fees for the 2nd, 3rd and 4th child. This discount only applies to the MMJFC component of the fees ($200) as the league's component of $120 is not able to be discounted.

 

Note that the $200 does not cover the costs of running your club and we rely on sponsorship, canteen and events to make up the difference.

 

However, based on last season’s costs, that $200 is spent roughly as follows:

• $66 on ground, insurance and general running costs, including ground hire, insurance, utilities and administration

• $50 on end of season recognition, including Presentation Day, trophies and medals

• $50 on club social running costs, such as events and functions including ANZAC Day and our Home Dinners

• $20 on equipment and playing kit, including footballs, jumpers, training gear and club merchandise

• $14 on first aid and player welfare, including first aid responders, trainer qualifications and medical supplies
   

This is an illustration based on the club’s FY26 costs. Actual spending varies from year to year depending on club needs.

Want to Join MMJFC but Are Currently Registered with Another Club?

If you are currently registered with another club and wish to join MMJFC, you must complete a Transfer Expression of Interest Form.

In addition, you will need to initiate a transfer request from your current club to MMJFC through PlayHQ.
 

Please note that submitting a transfer request does not guarantee approval. Transfer applications may be declined for a range of reasons, including team capacity, player points allocations, league regulations, or other club and competition requirements.
 

Age Groups Under 13 and Above

To ensure existing MMJFC players have priority access to registrations, the club reserves the first three weeks of each registration period exclusively for current players.

As a result, transfer requests for players in Under 13 age groups and above will generally not be approved during this period unless exceptional circumstances apply.

There are two registration periods each year, typically occurring in November and from February to June.
