Health & Wellbeing

“Healthy People, Healthy Club, Healthy Community”

Health & Wellbeing at Mount Martha Junior Football Club

A MMJFC Health & Wellbeing Officer can offer support, provide assessment and assist in finding appropriate professional help with any health and wellbeing issue.

Each officer holds a Mental Health First Aid Qualification, providing the skills to offer immediate help to a person who maybe developing a mental health problem or is experiencing a mental health crisis.

Around the club the main focus of the role is to educate, increase awareness and understanding of mental health in addition to maintaining a safe and healthy sporting environment for children.

Each local Health & Wellbeing Officer aims to provide a conduit between our teams and club, linking members in with the appropriate professional help as necessary.

If you suspect there is an immediate risk to the person you need to take immediate action to keep the person safe.
